City of St. Marys Municipal Building

This municipal building serves as the new home for the City of St. Marys, OH Mayor and other elected officials, and transforms the city core in to a revitalized cultural hub. The 3-story, 25,800 square foot building is  constructed adjacent to the city's historic Grand Opera House on their downtown strip of Spring Street. A second story walkway connector will join the two buildings. The new facility houses the consolidated administrative functions of St. Marys, OH and include private offices, public meeting / hearing space, storage, public transaction spaces, and service support spaces.

A new Point of Vieu:

The new municipal building was erected adjacent to the existing one! This was my first project leading Interior Design, and also the first project where I really became enamored with historical preservation. I began to value and even question the past a lot more, and learned to carry that through my design thinking.
