Burgess & Niple Offices

Burgess & Niple’s strategic plan looks to encourage and support organizational behaviors and practices that promote increased levels of employee engagement. In pursuit of that goal, Burgess & Niple utilized their internal Interior Design team to redesign & rebrand over 10 of their office locations. This includes both new tenant fit outs and renovations of existing tenant spaces. The Interior Design team led each project through space planning & programming, design development, material & lighting selection, and furniture selection, and coordinated each of these steps with clients, architects, and furniture dealerships. The Interior Design team has completed renovations for B&N staff for 10+ locations, from Washington, D.C. to Portland, OR.

A new Point of Vieu:

This series of rebrands, refreshes, and renovations for B&N started out a bit intimidating: I was less than a year out of school and was tasked with designing & procuring nearly a dozen different B&N locations. But that fear turned in to confidence as I collaborated and presented to shareholders & associates regularly, managed FF&E with our local dealers, and contributed to B&N's new workplace guidelines all while being an Interior Design team of one!
